CHIOMA JESUS BIOGRAPHY
Amaka Okwuoha popularly known as Chioma Jesus is a Nigerian music minister, worship leader, and anointed to lead many through an awesome praise session.
EARLY LIFE
Chioma Jesus was born on February 12th, 1972. She was born in Abia State but she is from Imo State, Nigeria. Chioma was born into the family of late Nze Euzebius Chukwumaeze Ebizie and Lolo Dorothy Ebizie of Ogboza independent community.
At a tender age, she lost both parents and was the eldest among her siblings.
MUSIC MINISTRY
Chioma Jesus started singing at her local church at the age of nine (9) and her pastor encouraged her to develop her talent and find her space in the Gospel music industry. She proceeded in her singing career at the Scripture Union Fellowship for 20years as a soloist and chorus leader.
She was also present at church programmes and crusades to give special numbers that are spirit-filled.
Chioma Jesus broke into the limelight when she was a guest artist at St. Andrews Anglican Church, Mile 1 Diobu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. And it brought a new dimension to her music ministry.
Her song “Chioma Jesus” which was released in 2003 makes her become popular in the Gospel music industry. She has written songs in the Yoruba and Igbo languages.
The song “Praise” which she released in 2011 topped the music charts in Nigeria. She has shared the stage and sang along with iconic Gospel artists like Lionel Peterson, Sinach, Samsong, Don Moen, and many others.
MARITAL AND RELATIONSHIP STATUS
Chioma Jesus is married to Evang. Callistus Okwuoha, they are blessed with three children.
